Goldenberry

§   Legal

Privacy.

Plain-English. Goldenberry Software OÜ (“Goldenberry”, “we”) runs goldenberry.so. This page explains what the site collects, the third-party tools involved, and the rights you have over your data. We don’t sell data and we keep collection to the minimum that tells us whether the site is useful.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Goldenberry Software OÜ, a private limited company registered in Estonia (registry code 17419522), Tartu mnt 67/1-13b, 10115 Tallinn, Estonia. Questions or requests: [email protected].

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how the site is used — which pages get read, roughly where visits come from, and how people move through the site. It is hosted on PostHog’s EU infrastructure (eu.i.posthog.com), so this telemetry stays in-region.

PostHog captures standard product-analytics events: page views, referring page, approximate location derived from IP, and device/browser type. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we never sell it. See PostHog’s privacy policy.

Cookies & local storage

PostHog may set first-party cookies (or use local storage) to recognise a returning browser within a session so visit counts aren’t inflated. These are analytics-only — there are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block cookies in your browser, or use your browser’s “Do Not Track” / private mode; the site works fine without them.

Fonts & hosting

The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches a font, Google receives your IP address as part of that request. See Google’s privacy policy.

Our hosting provider keeps standard web-server request logs (IP address, user agent, requested path, timestamp) for security and operational purposes. These are not used to identify individuals.

When you contact us or book a call

If you email [email protected] or schedule a call, we receive the information you provide (your name, email, and anything you write). Call booking runs through Google Calendar appointment scheduling; the details you enter there are processed by Google on our behalf. We use this only to respond to you and run the engagement — not for marketing lists.

Your rights

Under the EU GDPR you can request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict processing, and request a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] and we’ll respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon) if you believe we’ve mishandled your data.

Changes

We’ll update this page if our tools or practices change, and revise the date below.
